FedPitch 2009 Judging Criteria

Criteria for Assessing Pitches:

  1. Demonstrated Need (20%)

    • To what extent does the proposal address a demonstrated need?

  2. Feasibility (20%)

    • To what extent is the proposal viable and realistic?

  3. Originality (20%)

    • To what extent is the proposal unique and distinctive?

  4. Potential Impact (20%)

    • To what extent would implementing the proposal result in a broad-based impact with significant benefits?

  5. Presentation (20%)

    • To what extent was the presentation clearly articulated?

FedPitch 2009 Judges

The judges for FedPitch 2009 are

·         Chris Major, Executive Council Member of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources

·         Vince Micone, Vice President of Development at the Partnership for Public Service

·         Robert Tobias, Director of the Institute for the Study of Public Policy Implementation at the School of Public Affairs at American University

·         Kate Hudson Walker, President of Young Government Leaders

·         Glenn Sutton, Principal with Federal Management Partners, Inc. and previous Deputy Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and a senior advisor to 13L

The judges will rate each pitch based on factors such as originality and feasibility. At the end of the session, the judges will select a winner, who will meet with the judges at a later date to explore strategies for implementing the winning idea.
